Difficulites!!!

Okay due to technical difficulties.. probably by me.. I cant post pictures that I wanted to .... so I lied... I will try again later... My day isnt getting better!!!! LOL....

Okay this is where I wanna be!

Well another day ... Im sewing and I want to be outside!! Its simply perfect temps..50s, light breeze here on the coast and no rain today! Ive been very busy the last few days trying to get Christmas in July dolls done. Why is it so hard to do them this time of the year??? I wanna be outside playing in the dirt!!! Since Im in a gardening mood Im sharing my outdoor pictures today. Then Im back to sewing, nothing more to share today... kinda in one of those ho hum moods....So I will spare you all the details..!!! Maybe later after I get some dolls listed on Poppy I will post pics here of my progress!!!! Until then......

Where's the days going???

Wow its almost July!! Where the heck did the year go so far?? I feel Im barely putting away the Christmas items and here I go putting them back out before I know it... Hmmm lets see... school supplies are just about ready to arrive on the shelves at walmarts main isles... which means Halloween costumes, candy and garb out...... soon as school starts the Christmas overtakes a space and OH MY GOSH Im behind again!! Forever the story of my life!!!

Today I started off on a good note.... got up, had coffee... sewed around the 8 dolls I had traced out last night and then went walking 3 miles with a friend. Came home cut around those 8 dolls and turned them right side out. Now I sit here contemplating stuffing them all... ugh.. wishing that part was done! I have high hopes though as I sit and think of what Im making.... July is kick off for Christmas in July on Poppy Seeds so will hopefully have new items up .... and then back in the halloween and maybe the angel making for a few weeks. Now if I just dont get sidetracked! Ive posted a few pictures of new dolls I have on ebay now...

My son leaves soon for bootcamp so I may find myself trying to work more in my sewing room to pass the time faster. My daughter is off working as a medical assistant and looking to move out in a place of her own. Hmm imagine.. wanting to move away from me....??? How sad is that?!!!

Well suppose thats my day so far... and the dolls parts sitting here on the floor arent stuffing themselves!!! Back to work I go!!!! Until next time....

Ive been so busy!!

It's May and where has the time gone??? I have been so busy so far this year what is up with that?? When the busy season ended last year I thought wow now I have time to paint the rooms that need to be painted, work in my yard etc. LOL .... I am living in my sewing room!!! From the time I get up til the time I go to bed. Well maybe a trip or two to town to buy supplies from time to time but you get the picture. I am working my fingers off!! I think I need to start treating this more like a job and get off at a certain time at night... my husband is starting to think he is single! yikes!!!

The weather here is still wet. We had one beautiful weekend a few weeks ago and I was able to take two days off and work in the yard. Weeded til my hearts content and my poor fingers were too sore to thread a needle. But the yard looks pretty!!! Then the rains returned, and it rains and it rains!! Hope to write next time with good news of sunshine!!!

I speak of therapy cuz it hasn't stopped raining here and the sun so rarely peeks through for moments at a time. I have to visit a tanning bed just to feel like a normal human!!! My yard cries for love, pulling weeds and mowing the grass, planting flowers etc... I hope this weekend it turns out to be a nice one since our spot on weatherman says the sun will shine.. LOL choke, choke!! If I get lucky and get the yard looking pretty again I will post pics..but for now you get my auction pics... as Im stuck inside this sewing room!!! Sadly back from vacation.....

Hello to all!!! Just returned from my trip to Kauai!!! Oh if you have never been you just have to go! I thought all along my favorite island was Maui but I have since changed my mind. Kauai turned out to be what I think is my favorite,,, its green and beautiful.
We arrived last tuesday night. Got our luggage and we were off to surprise my parents, and my two sisters and their husbands. They had arrived earlier in the day and had no clue as to us showing up. They were shocked as you can imagine. We shared drinks that night and yes I paid for it the next day! But I stuck it out to venture out into the beautiful scenery. We did so many things while together, a cocktail cruise that I would recommend to everyone!!! Sadly we had to return home yesterday but I will be back soon!!!!
